For over twenty years, the Incendio del Castello Estense (Burning of the Estense Castle) has welcomed in the new year with an extraordinary fireworks display that transforms the heart of Ferrara into an open-air stage. Fireworks, music and lights envelop the Estense fortress in an explosion of emotions, giving citizens and visitors an unforgettable experience.
The party continues in Piazza Castello, where Radio Bruno, the official radio partner of Ferrara's New Year's Eve celebrations, will have the crowd dancing and singing along to the latest hits until late into the night.
For those who prefer a more intimate and refined atmosphere, the elegant halls of the Ridotto del Teatro Comunale will host a gala dinner with live music, welcoming in the new year with elegance and tradition.

Radio Bruno will get the crowd dancing with a performance by the band About That Night and their show 2000 a Tuono, which will accompany the evening in Piazza Castello until midnight. At the stroke of midnight, the sky will light up with the traditional Incendio del Castello Estense, an extraordinary pyro-musical show that will transform the heart of the city into a theatre of lights, sounds and magic.
