Since time immemorial, spring has been a symbol of rebirth. During this season the first warm weather begins, the sky is blue and the city is filled with a thousand colors. Spring in Ferrara is made up of relaxing bike rides, aperitifs in the center, long walks on the city walls, beautiful sunsets along the Darsena, and a palimpsest of activities and events between culture and entertainment, for all tastes. The center of Ferrara offers a fine balance between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, a unique and evocative atmosphere just waiting to be discovered!
The symbol par excellence of the Renaissance in Ferrara is the Palazzo dei Diamanti, which now presents itself to the public in a renewed guise. Inaugurating this new look is the exhibition "Renaissance in Ferrara. Ercole de' Roberti and Lorenzo Costa", an unmissable appointment to discover, or rediscover, two of the most illustrious interpreters of the Italian Renaissance. Over one hundred works are on display, some paintings from museums and collections around the world, which are being exhibited in Italy for the first time. Accompanied by an expert local guide, you will be able to trace the career of Ercole de' Roberti, heir to the Officina ferrarese, and the evolution of Lorenzo Costa; and, alongside the protagonists, other outstanding artists such as Mantegna, Nicolò dell'Arca, Francesco Francia, and Guido Mazzoni, to name but a few.

Over Middle Ages and Renaissance, discover the symbolic places of the Este family on a placid spring weekend.
