Every year, Ferrara’s historic city centre becomes a showcase for the flavours of the local area, bringing together producers, restaurateurs and businesses and giving visitors the chance to experience Ferrara’s culinary traditions first-hand.
The programme includes a wide range of events, from show cooking and tastings to talks, presentations and insights into local food and wine, with plenty of opportunities to try traditional products and recipes and meet the people who work every day to promote and preserve them.

But the Ferrara Food Festival is not just about food. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours, themed itineraries and experiences around the city, discovering Ferrara from new perspectives and combining local gastronomy with its rich historical and cultural heritage.
