Art & Ciocc: The Chocolate Festival (8-11 February)

For chocolate lovers, the event not to be missed is Art & Ciocc, which will take place in Piazza Trento e Trieste. Now in its tenth edition, this event promotes Italian chocolate through the art of master chocolatiers from different Italian cities. Tastings and regional proposals make this event a mouth-watering experience not to be missed!

Experience the romantic atmosphere with Valentine's Day illuminations

From Friday 9 February, the city lights up for Valentine's Day. The Victory Tower will be the centrepiece of this romantic atmosphere, illuminated by two- and three-dimensional heart-shaped structures. Don't forget to immortalise your most romantic moments by taking a selfie on the mega-heart-shaped bench.

Palazzo dei Diamanti: an elegant treasure chest of art and passion

Valentine's Day is also a special occasion for art lovers. At the Palazzo dei Diamanti, the exhibition 'Achille Funi. Un maestro del Novecento tra storia e mito' (Achille Funi. A master of the 20th century between history and myth) will offer access at a special price of €7 for the whole day instead of €13. The exhibition will exceptionally remain open until 11 pm (the ticket office closes at 10 pm).

Carnival of the Este and Markets

This romantic weekend will be enriched by the Carnevale degli Este festivities in Piazza Castello on 10 and 11 February. In addition, you can explore the Mercatino delle opere dell'ingegno in Piazza Castello and the Mercatino 'artigianato e natura' in Piazza Savonarola. If you're looking for a bit of m movement, don't miss the Love Walk on 11 February, promoted by Ado, to combine romance and wellness as you explore the charming cobbled streets among historic palaces and unforgettable views.
