THE EXPERIENCE

A journey to discover the legends, astrological and magical symbols present in various monuments of the city, without forgetting the characters of the Este family. Departure from the Estense Castle, a defensive fortress with the famous prisons of Parisina Malatesta, Ugo d'Este and Don Giulio d'Este to then reach, among the various Templar churches, San Giuliano and later San Domenico and "the footprint of the Devil", the former church of S. Maria della Rosa and the Cathedral of San Giorgio rich in medieval symbols and sacred numerology. You will then pass in front of Torquato Tasso's cell and then walk along Corso Ercole I D'Este until you reach the Palazzo dei Diamanti, a masterpiece by the architect Biagio Rossetti in the center of the Quadrivio degli Angeli and an example of the astrological knowledge achieved in the Este era.
