Extraordinary evening opening of Porta Paola

For Pink Night 2025, Porta Paola will be open for an extraordinary opening in the evening on Friday 20 June and Saturday 21 June, from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm.

It will be possible to visit the space on the ground floor of the large monumental construction at the centre of the square that marks the entrance to the city centre: a customs barrier, it is now, after careful restoration, home to the Documentation Centre of the Walls. Here it is possible to retrace all the historical stages that led the ancient city walls to become one of the symbols of Ferrara, with its evocative 9 km that can be covered entirely on foot or by bicycle.
