From 19 to 21 June 2026, the Notte Rosa returns – the major region- wide event that kicks off the summer across the whole of Romagna and in the region’s tourist destinations. Now in its 21st year, this year’s event is accompanied by the slogan “HIT’S SUMMER. The beat of summer, the sound of music, the rhythm of the party”, an invitation to enjoy three days of fun, culture and the region’s finest offerings.
To mark this long weekend, which symbolically coincides with the summer solstice, Ferrara offers a packed programme of events including live music, art, special openings and unique initiatives in the city’s most charming locations.

The Darsena di San Paolo is transformed into a wonderful musical square, featuring a concert by Leonardo Dossi & Band. An evening dedicated to A.N.D.O.S. (Italian Association of Women Who Have Undergone Breast Surgery).
Gates open at 8.00 pm, concert starts at 9.00 pm..

Arrosticini in the cloister - 19, 20, 21 June
In the wonderful setting of the small cloister of San Paolo, in the heart of Ferrara’s historic centre, the festival offers a wide and varied menu: traditional dishes such as cappellacci and cappelletti, meat main courses, particularly pork and lamb, and above all authentic Abruzzo-style lamb arrosticini.

Cinema in the Park - 19, 20, 21 June
The Arena Parco Pareschi in Ferrara will be screening the best films from the most recent cinema season.
The following screenings are scheduled during the ‘Notte Rosa’ evenings:

Giostra del Borgo – 19, 20, 21 June
The Giostra del Borgo is a unique opportunity to stroll through a medieval citadel, taking a step back in time, sharing in the life of the soldiers’ camp and the archers’ training with historical bows, enjoying theatre and music performances in the Arena, watching spectacular fire displays, or taking part in conferences and debates. Plus taverns, inns, banquets, duels, battles and shows.
Bavarian Fest - 19, 20, 21 June
An event organised by the Contrada Borgo San Giorgio, offering tasty dishes such as the Idra Burger, the San Giorgio Burger, pork shank with potatoes or sauerkraut, pretzels and other traditional specialities. Everything will be accompanied by ABK beer (Actien Breuerei Kaufbeuren), now famous at many events dedicated to it, in two varieties: Hell and Spezial, the former light, the latter full-bodied.
The satisfaction and pleasure will be not only for the palate but also for the ears: young bands with a strong local flavour will be performing.
