The Pink Night is an initiative held annually along the 110 kilometers of the Adriatic Riviera, which in 2023 will turn 18 and will take place July 7-8. A great collective celebration, involving the provinces of Rimini, Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna and Ferrara, including concerts, art installations, exhibitions, fireworks, shows, and magical scenery. A real summer New Year's Eve, celebrating the values of hospitality and infecting hundreds of thousands of people with its overwhelming joy every year.

Ferrara - Pink Night 2023

To celebrate its 18th birthday, Pink Night in Ferrara becomes 'Pink Week' with guests such as Eros Ramazzotti, Europe, Lazza, international DJ Paul Kalbrenner. Plus: a Morricone tribute concert to be held in Certosa Monumentale at dawn on Sunday, July 9, and many other events.

Pink Night 2023 - The historic city center lights up pink

From July 7 to 9, the historic center will be tinged with pink, from the Certosa Monumentale to Porta Paola, not forgetting the symbol of the city, the Estense Castle, which will also be dressed in pink for the occasion.

Ferrara's 'Pink Week' will be inaugurated on Wednesday, July 5, with a concert by Eros Ramazzotti (from 7:30 p.m. opening gates) in Piazza Trento Trieste, part of the Ferrara Summer Festival program. The following day, Europe will perform at the same venue, the events will continue on July 7 with the Fluo run and conclude on July 8 with international DJ Paul Kalkbrenner and on July 9 with Lazza, rapper, musician and record producer.

Porta Paola will also remain open and can be visited for free from 6 to 11 p.m. and, at the nearby Orco Bacco-Sa di Tapas venue, aperitifs from 6 p.m. with local rosé sparkling wines and, from 7:30 p.m., music and deejay sets. Porta Paola will also be the last stop on a guided tour of the city scheduled for Saturday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. (10 euros per person. Info and reservations at 346.3178104).

The Estense Castle will remain open extraordinarily during the evening of Saturday, July 8, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. (last visit at 10:30 p.m.) with a special single ticket at 5 euros (with an additional 2 euros, the visit to the Torre dei Leoni). At 9 p.m. kicks off the guided tour curated by InFerrara, 10 euros per person and special rate of 5 euros dedicated to 18-year-olds, book HERE .

The Certosa Monumentale will be the stage for the Ferrara Off Theater Bonsai Festival on Saturday, July 8 from 9:15 pm. On this occasion Maria Paiato will perform in 'Gentiluomo in mare' (Gentleman at Sea). Text selection and direction are by Giulio Costa. The cost of admission is 8 euros, (reduced 5 euros); tickets can be purchased at www.ferraraoff.it. On Sunday 9 the now traditional dawn concert will be held starting at 6 a.m. after the success of previous editions. This year a tribute to Ennio Morricone and Michelangelo Antonioni is scheduled. Admission will be free as always and from Charterhouse Avenue. The Jazz Ensamble consists of Erika Corradi and Alessandra Franchina on vocals, Valentino Briatore on piano, Giulia Carriero on saxophones, Raffaele Gentile on clarinet and Ambra Bianchi on flute.
