THE EXPERIENCE

The itinerary (entirely outdoors) winds through the rationalist-twentieth-century district of the city, starting from the Estense Castle, along viale Cavour, corso Giovecca, up to the center of the district or Largo Antonioni. Several interesting buildings will be described: Frescobaldi Conservatory and Boldini complex, Alda Costa Primary School, Natural History Museum. Returning to viale Cavour, a passage in front of the cloister of the former church of Santa Maria della Rosa, the Post Office building, the Air Force building, the Palazzo now headquarters of the Cadastre, monumental structure of the Ex Casa del Fascio.
During the journey, various Liberty Villas present in the itinerary will be observed from the outside: Villa Masieri-Finotti, Villa Melchiorri, Villa Amalia. The tour will end in front of the monumental aqueduct in Piazza XXIV Maggio.
