SMBE23 is an event organized by the Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution (from which the acronym depends) and will be held July 23-27, 2023 at the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara, Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

SMBE in Ferrara: the city like a hub

The city has a large pedestrian center in which the Middle Ages and the Renaissance blend in a unique harmony. The city is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site: conference participants will enjoy the extraordinary beauty of this location, both during conferences and in the air moments between appointments.

Like many other large events, SMBE meetings are almost obligatorily held in modern congress centers. Although this is a safe choice, all congress centers always provide the same rendering. The Urban Diffused Meeting (UDM) in Ferrara represents an exciting novelty which will make SMBE 2023 a remarkable and pioneering event.
