From Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, Internazionale comes to Ferrara: a weekend with journalists from around the world in which to delve into current events in the world in which we live. Meetings, presentations, screenings, exhibitions and workshops to meet internationally relevant figures and get educated and informed in an informal and friendly setting.
All meetings are free of charge and the spaces are barrier-free and accessible on foot or by bicycle.
Internazionale in Ferrara
Since 2007 Ferrara has been hosting a journalism festival that is unique in Italy, that of the magazine Internazionale, a weekly news magazine that publishes articles from the foreign press translated into Italian, thus giving readers a complete view of what is happening in the world.
Internazionale in Ferrara takes place every year on the first weekend of October. Three intense days in the company of journalists from all over the world, with meetings, presentations, screenings, exhibitions and workshops.
A true diffuse festival, which transforms the streets, squares, and buildings of the city into places of encounter and cultural and intellectual exchange, all in an informal and friendly context.
During the days of the festival you will find great movement and liveliness in the city, with enthusiasts and the curious taking part in the festival's initiatives, chatting and discussing the events they have attended or simply relaxing after a long day having an aperitif in the city centre.
A programme that gets richer and richer every year, with even special initiatives dedicated to children with 'Internazionale Kids'.
Over the years, Internazionale in Ferrara has hosted hundreds of guests from all over the world, such as Roberto Saviano, Zerocalcare, Marjane Satrapi, Daria Bignardi, Noam Chomsky, Arundhati Roy, David Remnick, Alan Rusbridger, Jovanotti and many, many others.
